Sculpting
began for me in the 70’s when the people at the Norton Salt Co.
published their recipe for Salt Dough. I enjoyed this medium of
sculpting for many years creating whimsical ornaments. I sold my
work at trade shows, state fairs, and school bazaars.
.
Then I discovered the Polymer clays, which allowed me to
achieve fine detail and inspired me to make a “how to “ book of
movable jointed figures called: Button Buddies. After the book was
published, it occurred to me that I could make people in cartoon
resemblance, starting with my family members as my first victims.
.
My
God-given talent continues to develop as I practice with joy, to
achieve and capture each personality and likeness. I am focused on
keeping high detail a priority. Each character comes alive to me;
they are unique, one of a kind, signed and numbered. My work has
traveled to nearly every country in the world, and I’m excited to
see where this new venture is going to take me. My biggest reward is
seeing satisfied customers.
.
I look forward to working with you to make your occasion even
more special.
